Beth El Youth Programs

Beth El Youth Programs

Beth El’s youth programs provide our children with an opportunity to strengthen their friendships with Jewish children in our community through fun Jewish-themed activities.

Pre Kadima

Pre-Kadima is for children in grades 3 through 5.  Pre-Kadima is the first level of our synagogue based youth program, which allows younger children to prepare for the fun to come in Kadima.

Kadima

Kadima, for children in grades 6 through 8, is a synagogue-based, international youth program for Jewish youth in grades 6-8. It is sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and offers programs through local affiliated congregations, as well as regional programming.

USY

USY is for children grades 9 through 12.  Founded in Minneapolis in 1950, United Synagogue Youth is the youth branch of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. It was established for one simple reason: to create a youth group for Conservative Jewish children that incorporated Jewish education with a social environment.

Beth El is part of East Windsor USY, which is a chapter of the Hagalil region of USY, and is the only Hagalil chapter in Mercer County. East Windsor USY’s members live in East Windsor, West Windsor, Plainsboro, Robbinsville, Hamilton and South Brunswick.

East Windsor USY has chapter events throughout the year, along with being active both regionally and internationally.

Chapter events include chocolate seders, sleepovers, Teen Minyanim, scavenger hunts, nights at Bounce U, mini-golf, the Purim Carnival, and much more. You will make lasting friendships and memories to last a lifetime.
